Dave is the Iowa’s first Energy Code plans examiner and building energy inspector. He is responsible for reviewing all state owned and state funded buildings for adherence to the International Energy Conservation Code, Life Cycle Cost Analysis and LEED/Green Codes. Dave holds a Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University, is a Registered Architect, and has been a member of the AIA for over 20 years. He has over 24 years of architectural experience and has worked for a number of Central Iowa Architectural firms as well as running his own firm.
