“Face-to-face is the best way to market the ways our new nonprofit association helps schools save money,” advised the Energy Association of Iowa Schools (EAIS) board of directors on February 16, 2012. The board has set a goal of visiting all nine Area Education Agency regional superintendents meetings by the end of April.
“We recognize meeting agendas are full and we are asking a lot to squeeze in a few minutes to talk about EAIS,” acknowledged Julie Weisshaar, executive director. “However, with 2012-2013 school budgets being set now and energy efficiency work being scheduled for the summer, the board felt it was important we get the news out as soon as possible of how EAIS E-membership can help Iowa schools save energy and budget dollars.”
Meeting dates, times and locations will be posted here as they are set. For more information, please explore this website and/or feel free to contact Julie Weisshaar.
